AICSA is a non-profit association that brings together and supports the Ivorian community of Southern Alberta.
Our community includes families, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, young people, newcomers, and people who have been established here for many years.
We come from different backgrounds, but we share roots, a culture, and a desire to build something lasting.
Our vision is grounded in a simple conviction: a strong community leaves no one behind.
Gather
Build connections before they are needed. AICSA brings families, young people, professionals, entrepreneurs and newcomers together through culture, food, sport, networking and community life. We gather because we are stronger together.
Support
Solidarity is at the heart of our community. We do not claim to solve everything: our role is to create connections, mobilize the right people, and foster a culture where indifference has no place.
Pass on
Our roots are a legacy worth passing on. Our children should grow up fully part of Canadian society while knowing and taking pride in where they come from.
Thrive
Each person's success contributes to everyone's success. We want to foster networking, mentorship, education, entrepreneurship, shared expertise, youth development and recognition of talent.
Build
Do not simply take part in a community—build it: a stronger association, lasting projects, partnerships and opportunities. We want to leave a community legacy.

Dear Ivorians and friends of our community, AICSA was born from a simple conviction: we are stronger when we stand together.
Far from home, it can be easy to face the challenges of daily life alone. Paperwork, settling in, searching for work, starting a project, or simply meeting people who share our story all become easier when we can rely on one another.
We want to build a united, supportive and thriving community where everyone belongs, where we mobilize in difficult moments, and where members develop their talents while passing our culture on.
Our ambition begins with simple things: a meeting, a helping hand, a shared idea, a few volunteer hours, or an event organized together.
I invite you to make AICSA our shared home—a place where we come together, help one another, celebrate our roots and build our future.
